Text of the article:
“Spin”

Director: David Marmor
Marmor’s “Spin” is an ingenious
piece of filmmaking. The short explores
the daunting topic of quantum physics
in a comprehensible and visually fas-
cinating manner. Ray, a physicist,
suffers a near-fatal bicycle crash. Six
months later, he is still reflecting upon
the event. What intrigues him is how
life is composed of an infinite number
of parallel realities. In one scene, the
screen literally splits into millions of
squares, each outlining an alternate
universe. It's a thrilling moment, and
one that signals an impressive new
talent to watch for.
